Erik, born in Toronto, is an Oklahoma City-based filmmaker. In addition to key creative credits in independent films, Erik also worked on the crew of Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, Lee Isaac Chung’s Twisters, and Sylvester Stallone’s Tulsa King. Erik’s extensive Theatre background, evident in his work, also goes back well over a decade, including performances in Edinburgh Fringe Festival, a Shakespeare Festival in Beijing, and a BFA in Acting from Oklahoma City University. Erik is so excited for you to see this film, and for everyone to get to know these characters, and for other people to start lightly, lovingly bullying Joey with him.

Carissa Aguila is a stage/film actor turned designer/mixed media artist based in Dallas, Texas. Carissa brings over 12 years of experience in Theatrical Arts to the table and is eternally grateful to Erik Hamilton for holding that door open for them. This film explores the bonds of friendship: always bending, never breaking.

Elise, from Osage County in Northeast Oklahoma, is a theatre and film director, who also has a history of producing film. By the end of the year, Elise will have directed seven plays since early 2022. Elise’s film career includes crew positions in Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon and Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi’s Reservation Dogs. Elise loves the dog present in this photo.

Emily Wollenberg is a producer, actor, props manager and marketing director for Big Stupid Idiot. She studied acting and broadcast journalism at Oklahoma City University. Since graduating, she has worked professionally both in front of the camera and behind, as well as on stage. She also works as a freelance writer. She enjoys watercolor painting, learning Spanish, watching nature documentaries and good cheese.

Joey attended school with most of the 'Big Stupid Idiot' crew and is now working in VFX production. The only thing that makes him more proud than his ranked list of the cast/crew from coolest to loser-iest is the fact that he got to work so closely with #74 both as a director and actor.
